What is semi permanent make up?
It is a state of the art technique where small amounts of natural pigment are placed under the skin to create semi permanent make up, these pigments then lay in the upper dermis and show through the skin as a shadow of colour. Semi permanent make up techniques are used to enhance or correct facial features.
Do I need a consultation?
Consultations are FREE and we discuss what your requirements are on the day, we also carry out a skin test to ensure you are suitable for treatment. This is also the opportunity for you to book into the boutique.
What's the difference between semi permanent and permanent make up?
There is no difference between semi permanent make up and permanent make up; it is the same thing. It is also known as Micro pigmentation but this phrase isn't as common.
Is semi permanent make up safe?

Health check questionnaires are performed prior to treatment and skin patch tests are carried out before the procedure to ensure you are suitable for treatment.
How many semi permanent treatments will I need?
There is the initial treatment and then an essential top up appointment carried out 4-6 weeks later. This will perfect the colour and shape of your procedure. The procedure cannot be carried out prior to the 4 week period as the risk of scar tissue intensifies.
Does the semi permanent make up procedure hurt?
Numbing creams and gels are used before and during the procedure to ensure your comfort is the number one priority. Many people describe the procedure as a slight scratching sensation to begin with and then it becomes completely numb.
Am I suitable for semi permanent makeup?
Semi permanent make up is suitable for people of all ages from 18 to 100 and beyond, and for all different skin colours and tones

How long does semi permanent make up last?
Semi permanent make up lasts between 2 and 5 years, but regular top ups between 12 to 18 months are recommended to maintain optimal results and enhance your natural beauty.
How long does the appointment take?
The first appointment will take approximately 2 hours the procedure is never rushed as client satisfaction is essential. The top up session will last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
How will I look immediately after the procedure?
After the procedure the semi permanent make up will appear darker than normal and rather intense , within 1 to 2 weeks the pigment will soften and fade by approximately 40-70%.
How do we design eyebrow shape?
We will design your new eyebrows essentially based on your face shape, specific tools are utilised to ensure perfect symmetry. Tattooing will not commence until you are 100% happy with the shape.
Do you shave away my natural eyebrow hairs?
No, we keep the majority of your natural eyebrow hair and tattoo between your natural eyebrows. There is no need to shave your eyebrows away, they are here to stay.
Can I have semi permanent make up while pregnant or breast feeding?
Unfortunately not, due to hormonal changes it is not recommended to carry out semi permanent make up until you have had the baby and have finished breast feeding.
What about Aftercare?
You will be given an aftercare pack with everything you need to know to ensure perfect healing. It is essential to follow the aftercare advice to ensure maximum longevity for your semi permanent make up.
